Will Durant come to the Celtics? NBA Free Agent movement from 2011-15

Here is a breakdown on the NBA free agent movement, both RFA and UFA, from 2011-2015.

Based on the lack of movement in the last 5 years, I wouldn't bank on Durant wearing number 35 for the Celtics in the near future.

1. 93 out of 164 total free agent players STAYED with the same team.

2. Only 7 of 49 RFA's changed teams.

3. Only 17 players that got $10 million or more dollars per year changed teams in the last 5 free agents years. Out of this, only three, Howard, James and Aldridge would anybody consider franchise changing players.

5. For the 71 free agents that left their team, what was the biggest destination point? Warm weather has nothing to do with it. Only teams not to sign a free agent...Nets, Jazz and 76ers.
