David Ortiz' record season through 84 games

As we all know, David Ortiz is having a crazy good offensive season. How good?

I went through the numbers from baseball-reference for players with greater than or equal to 50 extra base hits through their teams first 84 games.

One thing that stood out was Ortiz hitting a ton of extra base hits while doing it in very few at bats.

Turns out he is have the 6th best season in MLB history at accumulating extra base hits per at bat.
