David Ortiz just became 17th player in MLB history to have at least 1,000 extra base hits with one team. He joins Ted Williams and Carl Yastrzemski as players doing it with the Boston Red Sox

Fourteen of the other sixteen are in the Hall of Fame. The 15th, Chipper Jones, will go in next year. Leaving only Barry Bonds on the outside looking in.
