NBA - #3 picks from 1980-2015 - Looks like more hit than misses

The Celtics supposedly got boned because they got the 3rd pick in the 2016 NBA draft. There are only 2 players that are coveted by almost every expert, Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram.

However, I've heard this story before, in both basketball and football. Most times, if there are a consensus top 2 picks, one is extremely good and the other is a bust.

You make the call. Here are the #3 pick in the draft from 1980-2015, I like the odds that the Celtics have a better chance than not of getting a real NBA player or the pick having enough value to bring in an impact player.
